"I was doing time in the universal mind" - Jim Morrison

A few days ago, I was dreaming about sensors that can read my mind. Today I was presented with this article - "Princeton study matches brain scans with complex thought" - thank you +Risto Linturiand +Jaana Nyström for sharing and resharing.

With developments in the field it is possible that, in the near future, I will be carrying
around an iMind. The exomind or iMind will be a live image of my thoughts. Maybe iMind 1 will only be able to take control of a few simple tasks, but its capacity will
improve as the mind scanning tools improve. Can't wait to put my hands on a iMind 5.

And what about a shared mind? Sharing is natural, almost a need, as the 750 million Facebook users will tell you. Once we sort out private versus public mind issues, it will be possible to build the universal mind, the collective mind of mankind. How powerful will the collective mind be, will it free us or enslave us?

As Risto mentions in his post, this raises many interesting questions. Do you remember Batman Returns, where Edward Nygma used his invention, The Box, to steal brain power from his victims to get smarter and smarter?

And what will happen if your iMind is hacked? What damage will a mind virus be able to do, once it gets access to your iMind? and to your real mind?

Yesterday, when commenting on a post by +Morgan ABBOU about new technology available in 2025, I used the word Godgle to represent the evolution of Google, not GOD as Generator, Operator, Destroyer of the universe, not the all Powerful God, at least outside our galaxy, but the all knowing God.

In the near future, I will be wearing iGlasses, glasses with adapted camera and microphones, so that Godgle will know about everything that I see and hear, to complement what he already knows about what I do online.

Apart from my thoughts, there is nothing that Godgle will not know about me. Now that I think about it, maybe God does not know about my thoughts. What is the point of punishing me for what I do, but not for what I think? Though question.

Ok, so Godgle will have some sensors implanted on my brain - I can throw away the iGlasses, Godgle will have access to all my senses and thoughts and I got rid of the question

If God knows about my thoughts, so does Godgle.
